Outlook 2003 Unable to Copy/Paste Attached Files on Draft/Forward Message

Posted by Dede Nurmansyah on November 20, 2009
How Do I? / No Comments

Q:
How come I cannot copy/paste attached files inside of my draft/forward message on MS-Outlook? Previously, it’s works for me and somehow it did not. I’m using Microsoft Outlook 2003, with HTML format and Microsoft Word as editor.

A:
It’s looks like you recently switch your message format to HTML. As far as I knew, only “Rich Text” format that allows you to copy/paste the attached file inside of draft message. Or perhaps, re-register ole32.dll and shel32.dll will helps you. However, in the Microsoft Outlook 2007, it allows you to copy/paste attached files from draft/forward message which HTML format.

Note:
Corrections and clarifications are most welcome!
